prescriptions are fillable at over 60,000 LARGE CHAIN or SMALL INDEPENDENT pharmacies
M. A.P is our internal high-cost medication solution for our members led by our President of Pharmacy, Dr. Eric Nietcho, PharmD
Medication Advocacy Program aka M.A.P is a non-insurance solution that provides dedicated advocates to help procure high-cost maintenance, specialty meds, infusion therapies, and drugs that treat chronic conditions often directly from us due to our direct relationship with manufacturers or through our mail order pharmacy partners.
Due to the rising costs of prescription drugs, some people are forced to skip doses or avoid purchasing the medication that could save their lives. We intend to help those people get their meds (for free in many instances) with a monthly membership of $60 per month per person to ensure they can control their health. The Medication Advocacy Program (MAP), a prescription assistance program, was created to help those who are on high-cost prescription drugs and cannot afford them, regardless of income or insurance.
Our advocates are led by our President of Pharmacy, Dr. Eric Nietcho, PharmD and our internal staff that supports this initiative. Dr. Eric and our team have a combined 50 years’ experience in the patient assistance space serving not only Americans but delivery pharmaceutical solutions to Africa and other nations as well.
My Virtual Docs (MVD) advocates move rapidly to help identify the best source for procurement of high-cost medications for members. Whether it is a diabetic medication such as Bydureon or Apidra, or a specialty medication such as Humira or Cosentyx, or drug such as Spinraza, MAP's team goes to great lengths to help members get the access they need.
Prescription Assistance Programs, or PAPs, have emerged to help patients who lack health insurance or prescription drug coverage obtain the medications they need. Often even with insurance, the cost of specialty medications can still be too expensive for most Americans. We created M.A.P for this purpose to bring affordable solutions along with our other pharmaceutical services to make medications not only affordable but deliverable.
We advocate for this through a four-tiered approach for medications which include: A discount card which offers a reward when shopping for medications that pays you called, "Rx Heroes". Secondly, we provide a true prescription plan with predicative pricing for 90% of the most commonly used medications in America through our mail order delivery. This program is called, "America's Free Pharmacy (AFP)" which includes (605 chronic and acutes medications) included for free with a monthly membership and includes free shipping on all prescriptions. In addition, with our partnership with Walmart, we have the lowest priced insulin in the country at $19.88 per vial.
Thirdly, RX Heroes, in addition to providing our discount card with rewards is a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) that typically works with either insurance carriers, self-insured companies and municipalities throughout the country to provide all medications at an affordable rate. And lastly, the previously mentioned, M.A.P which acts as an advocacy program typically offered by pharmaceutical companies to provide free or low-cost prescription drugs to qualifying individuals but we offer directly. MAP, your advocacy partner providing you a roadmap to help navigate the confusing and expensive journey of paying specialty medications while providing the medications needed at an affordable price.
